I work with authors on ambitious nonfiction involving complex ideas, rigorous science, and truly moving storytelling. This partnership looks different depending on what the project needs: consulting or sparring, research and red-teaming claims, science advising and introductions to experts, fact-checking, rewriting, interviewing, or support for the initial burst and long tail of a book's promotion.

I've worked with hundreds of authors through Team Onagadori, a monthly community of practice for book authors in the sciences and humanities that I support; Psychgeist, a nonprofit for social psychologists I helped co-found in 2022; the Beyond the Ivory Tower writing workshop and alumni community; and independent engagements.
